Choosing the right leather

Working on the dress I've chosen for the photo shoot that'll be in February, I still need to find the right leather that'd match perfectly with the matte silk fabric. I don't know if I should use the same leather with texture that I used for the jacket I'm also working on for the next look. I'm afraid that it'll make the dress look too busy.
